Dr. Garna Renauld Trafton was born in La`Rochelle, France on May 27, 1955. He is the oldest son of Mrs. Zora E. Trafton, and the late Garna L. Trafton. Apostle Garna R. Trafton is the Founder of Bread of Life Christian Ministries, Inc. and the overseer of the Bread of Life Ministerial Fellowship. Apostle Trafton’s purpose is to bring the presence, ability, life and light of God into the community through the life of the believer. His goals are to bring people out darkness into the marvelous light, having men transformed by the renewing of their minds, to bring them into heirship, kingship and sonship through tutoring and governing, having already obtained eternal life through salvation in believing on the Lord, Jesus and His substitutionary sacrifice at Calvary.
Apostle Trafton is the husband to a beautiful and godly woman, Lolita F. Trafton. They have worked side-by-side and hand-in-hand to fulfill the vision God has given the man of God. They are the proud parents of four beautiful children – one son, Garna Barthiya, and three daughters, Marlene, Shawntya and Jarnay.
On June 10, 2001, the College of Apostles and Bishops under the Apostolic covering of the late Bishop William E. Saunders who affirmed Dr. Trafton as the Apostle of Bread of Life Christian Ministries. Dr. Trafton is the President and Founder of Bread of Life Bible College and Training Institute, a school of academic Excellency, at the undergraduate level where the purpose is to train men and women to know and accept their rightful place in God’s individual design for their life. He has established the Bread of Life Ministerial Internship Program where the motto is: Quality Ministers make Quality Ministries. Apostle Trafton has a television and radio ministry called, “Flames of Fire.” Apostle Trafton is the overseer of Bread of Life Ministerial Fellowship, an apostolic operation planting and covering works that are progressively moving forward in the will of God. Apostle Trafton knows there believers who are not a part of a traditional church, but who are a part of the Body of Christ who have been wounded by the traditions of men, rejected by the religious community, who love God and His Word and want to know more about the Power of the Holy Spirit, working mightily in their lives. Dr. Trafton is a member of the Logos International Ministerial Association in Jacksonville, Florida. He also serves on the Board of Directors with Regency Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida.
